What is pipe relining?
Pipe relining, also known as Cured In-Place Pipelining (CIPP) is the process of creating a pipe within a pipe to restore function and water flow. This is done by replacing your pipes by curing them from the inside with a special resin which then cures over time to form a strong pipe.
Pipe relining doesn’t require digging and can be accessed through a buildings clean-out. The insertion takes place from an access point which is upstream. Inserting from a downstream access point is possible, but it is not recommended because it is far riskier.

What Can Pipe Relining Repair?
Pipe Relining is a versatile solution suitable for rehabilitating a wide range of pipes and issues, including:
We can rehabilitate pipes ranging from 15mm to 1500mm in diameter, and we offer several choices when addressing the tricky art of dealing with junctions. From stack pipes to collapsed lines underground or beneath concrete, there’s nothing too big for us to handle!
When to Consider Pipe Relining
The primary advantage of choosing pipe relining is to avoid the costly and disruptive process of replacing broken pipes or entire pipe systems. While pipe relining is a highly effective solution for many pipe materials (PVC, cast iron, copper, etc.) and sizes, it’s important to note that it’s not suitable for all types of damage. Severely collapsed or entirely destroyed pipes may still require traditional excavation.
That’s why a professional assessment by our qualified specialists is crucial to determine if pipe relining is the appropriate solution for your specific needs.

At Biggs Plumbers & Electrical, we have the skills and equipment to give a new flow and life to your pipes without the excess costs associated with traditional methods.
